Our excursion for the day included going back, on one lane roads, deep into the Black Forest. Our target? A restaurant, where I’d learn the proper way of having peppermint schnapps. Many of us slept on the bus ride from the restaurant.
Before lunch we wandered around an open air historical museum of the houses built hundreds of years ago. I made butter and went into buildings with thatch roof. Foot thick thatch roofs.
